By on April 24, 2007

Students on caffeine highs who have a few minutes to chill out before impending finals can hit up the video store to relax for a couple of hours. This week’s DVDs showcase a museum come to life, a queen on edge and a man feeling like he’s been here before.

Directed by Stephen Frears, “The Queen” follows the story of Queen Elizabeth II (Helen Mirren) and her coordinated efforts with Prime Minister Tony Blair (Michael Sheen) to handle the English public outcry following the death of Princess Diana.

“Night at the Museum,” directed by Shawn Levy, is the comedic tale of Larry Daley (Ben Stiller), a nighttime security guard at the Museum of Natural History. Daley, believing his new job to be easy, is shocked to find a curse has vivified the museum’s many colorful exhibitions.

The film also features Robin Williams, Dick Van Dyke and Mickey Rooney.

“Dj Vu,” directed by Tony Scott, follows ATF agent Doug Carlin (Denzel Washington), who travels back in time to save a woman from being murdered. During his escapades with her, he ends up falling in love.
