Legendary jazz recording artist Dave Brubeck was in residence this week on the campus of UGA. On Feb. 13, during his performance of “The Light in the Wilderness,” Brubeck was accompanied by the UGA Concert Choir along with the UGA Chorus & Symphony Orchestra. The next evening began with a performance by the UGA Classic City Jazz vocal ensemble. Brubeck’s band followed with a program entitled “A Night of Jazz with the Dave Brubeck Quartet.” Hugh Hodgson Concert Hall at the Performing Arts Center served as the site for both evenings’ programs.
