Man sodomized by homeless

Police say a homeless man committed aggravated sodomy Thursday afternoon against a 23-year-old male in downtown Athens.
The incident occurred at an undisclosed location at 1 p.m., police say.
Police have the name of the homeless man, but he has not been arrested or charged.
According to the police report:
The homeless man approached a man and a woman as they were getting into a car. He held the car door open and asked the man where he lived and whether he owned a car. The woman told the man to take down the homeless man’s name, and the man walked away with him to get the information.
The 23-year-old man told police he did not remember much but did recall “a large door with writing on it and a hallway of some type,” where the suspect then told him to perform oral sex, the police report states.
When he refused, the homeless man threatened to beat him up and told him to pull down his pants and bend over.
When he refused again, the homeless man allegedly pulled down the man’s pants and forced him to bend over. The homeless man then performed anal sex and allowed the man to leave when he was finished, according to the report.
The 23-year-old man was taken to the Sexual Assault Center of Northeast Georgia on Lexington Road for testing and to be interviewed.
