Due to a reporter’s error, a story on the front page of Tuesday’s newspaper has incorrect information. University employee Michael Alligood has been charged only with a probation violation and not with theft by taking or criminal trespassing.

The University police incident report states that while investigating a complaint “that individuals have been entering University of Georgia property for the past six years harvesting deer and collecting firewood” police discovered that a “subsequent investigation … led to the arrest of the offender for probation violations out of Dodge County.”
