- Asian Child Mentoring Program seminar. ASMP is a program that mentors Asian kids in American households. We will be having a seminar on adoption. 6:30 p.m. SLC 213.

- Rod Ziemer Lecture. Sponsored by the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics. An annual lecture to honor the memory of former graduate student Rod Ziemer, whose life was cut short in 1984. This year’s speaker is Nicholas Ahouissoussi, who earned a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from the University in 1995 and is now senior economist at the World Bank. 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. 104 Conner Hall. - Relay For Life Black Light Benefit Concert. Break out your white tees and get ready to party. The benefit concert honors cancer survivors and pays tribute to the lives lost to the disease. It features music from Crumbling Arches, Royal Blue & The Stone Grifters, and 23jinx. There will also be performances by Fatina Belly Dancers & Company, as well as the UGA Break Dance Club. $5. 10 p.m. Saturday. Tasty World.
