Kristin Tyson, a Georgia alumna, handles a barn owl during “Raptor Training 101″ at Memorial Park on Thursday for the first time since she began classes. “Raptor Training 101″ is offered every other Thursday through May 29 and gives bird enthusiasts a chance to handle and care for birds of prey.
