Georgia defensive end faces weapon charge (w/ incident report)
Georgia defensive end Jeremy Lomax was arrested this morning on charges of carrying a concealed weapon and speeding by Athens-Clarke County, according to the Clarke County Sheriff’s Office Jail Booking log.
Lomax was booked into at 12:42 a.m. and released at 1:30 a.m. on bonds totaling $3,000.
Lomax started 12 games last season and recorded 4 1/2 sacks.
This is the second arrest of a Georgia player in the past few weeks. Staring offensive lineman Clint Boling was arrested and charged with a DUI while in Alpharetta last month. He faces a minimum one-game suspension.
