Basketball recruit Daniel Miller, a forward from Loganville, spurned Georgia on Tuesday, and then left Bulldog fans stinging with his pledge to in-state rival Georgia Tech on Wednesday.

“We feel very fortunate to add a student athlete of Daniel Miller’s caliber to our recruiting class,” Georgia Tech coach Paul Hewitt said.

Miller led Loganville Christian Academy to three straight state titles. In his senior year, the 6-foot-10 forward averaged 21 points, eight rebounds and five blocks a game.
