Crimewatch Oct. 19-24
The following was reported by the University Police:
Thomas Gordon Rosenbloom was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. He was arrested at Russell Hall on Oct. 19 at 7:15 p.m.
Kelly Theresa Lockwood was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol and possession of a fake ID. She was arrested at Creswell Hall on Oct. 22 at 10 p.m.
Chelsea Marie Christiansen and Arin Christian Fowler were arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol. They were arrested at Mell Hall on Oct. 24 at 2:24 a.m.
The following was reported by the Athens-Clarke County Police:
Christopher James Harris, 19, and Kaitlyn Elizabeth Moran, 19, were arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol after the arresting officer asked them for identification because he heard Moran tell Harris to “watch out” because she saw a police officer. They were arrested at 333 E. Broad St. on Oct. 22 at 12:33 a.m.
Bruce Devon Ball, 19, and Alexandra Baxter Thornton, 19, were arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol after an officer saw Ball spray the contents of a water bottle on a group of people who “looked like they didn’t know what was going on.” They were arrested on Broad Street at the University Arch on Oct. 22 at 11:40 p.m.
Chase Andrew Kopro, 19, was arrested and charged with theft after an officer responded to a call at Boar’s Head bar that Kopro had been taking money from the tip jar. When police arrived, Kopro pushed away from police and climbed a table, then attempted to jump over a fence when an officer brought him down. Several dollars were sticking out of Kopro’s back pocket, and when searched at the police station $14 were found in his shoes. He was arrested at 260 E. Washington St. on Oct. 23 at 2:20 a.m.
Kristin Bonita Smith, 22, was arrested and charged with DUI after an officer pulled her over because her vehicle drifted back and fourth in the road. She was arrested on Barnett Shoals Road at Johnson Drive Extension on Oct. 23 at 3:23 a.m.
Andrew Glen Jennings, 21, was arrested and charged with public drunkenness after an officer stopped him because he was walking around with his shirt off. Talking to Jennings, the officer discovered he was trying to walk to his apartment, which was in the opposite direction he was walking. Because Jennings couldn’t walk without stumbling into the roadway, he was taken to the jail. Jennings was arrested on Martin Luther King Parkway at North Avenue on Oct. 23 at 3:01 a.m.
Derek Michael Grabowski, 20, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol after the arresting officer broke up a fight between him and a doorman at The Loft. He was arrested at 154 E. Clayton St. on Oct. 24.
Ashley Brooke Hillis, 20, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol after an officer saw her holding two IDs, one of which was fake. She was arrested at 364 E. Broad St. on Oct. 23 at 10:41 p.m.
James Colley Little, 27, was arrested and charged with DUI, improper driving and driving without lights on. He was arrested on Prince Avenue at Pulaski Street on Oct. 25 at 2:37 a.m.
Melanie Jean Dickenson, 18, and Kaitlyn Elizabeth Hannay, 20, we arrested after the arresting officer saw Dickenson pass an ID to Hannay outside Bourbon Street bar. They were arrested on Oct. 24 at 11:47 p.m.
