Crime Watch Jan. 26-Feb. 1

The following was reported by the University Police:

Nathaniel Robert Woods was arrested and charged with driving without a license, no insurance, and driving an unregistered vehicle on Jan. 27. He was arrested in the Psychology parking lot at 12:11 a.m.

Cameron Stephen Myers and Austin Turner Roddy were arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol and obstruction on Jan. 29. They were arrested in the Hull Street parking deck at 1:41 a.m.

Mackenzie James Emerson was arrested and charged with DUI, underage possession of alcohol and failure to maintain lane on Jan. 29. He was arrested on Milledge Avenue at 3:09 a.m.

James Christopher Hart was arrested and charged with DUI and failure to obey a traffic control device on Jan. 30. He was arrested at the intersection of Lumpkin Street and Wray Street at 12:21 a.m.

Sebastian Alan Montgumery Hyman was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana on Jan. 31. He was arrested in Russell Hall at 1:52 a.m.

Daniel Robert Staub was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana on Jan. 31. He was arrested in Russell Hall at 9:37 p.m.

The following was reported by the Athens-Clarke County Police:

David Lee Ringhoffer was arrested and charged with public drunkenness and obstructing a law enforcement officer on Jan. 26 at 3:52 a.m. He was arrested in front of his apartment, located at 655 East Campus Road, after he was approached by officers inquiring why he was standing in front of the Studio 40 Apartment complex. After initially speaking Spanish and pretending to be unable to hear the officers, Ringhoffer was uncooperative and began resisting arrest. Ringhoffer was eventually wrestled to the ground where he was handcuffed and taken to jail.

Austin Smither Langley, 19, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol and open container on Jan. 29. He was arrested at 175 North Lumpkin Street after an officer saw him walk out of El Centro with a can of Miller Lite beer at 2:05 a.m.

Sarah Christine Hedrick, 19, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol and open container on Jan. 29. She was arrested at 220 College Avenue after an officer saw her walk out of Sandbar bar with a Landshark beer in her hand at 3:24 a.m. She tried to conceal the bottle in her jacket, and threw it away after seeing the police officer.

Michael Scott Bohan was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol, obstructing of a law enforcement officer and open container on Jan. 29 at 1:20 a.m. He was arrested after officers approached him in front of Loft Bar at 164 East Clayton Street for holding an open container of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer. He then attempted to run from police. After running down Clayton Street, taking a left on Lumpkin Street, then turning onto Broad Street, he was apprehended in front of the Holiday Inn.
