Downpour cancels Diamond Dogs rest of series with Vandy
Torrential rain and flooding the Nashville area has cancelled the remainder of the Georgia-Vanderbilt baseball series.
Sunday’s scheduled action was to feature the completion of a suspended game from Saturday when Georgia was leading 4-2 in the bottom of the fourth followed by a seven-inning game to complete the series.
The Bulldogs (13-30, 3-16 SEC) will be back in action Friday for the start of a three-game set with Tennessee.
