Former Diamond Dog dies in Florida fire

Former Georgia pitcher Chris Fordham died as a result of a fire in his Jacksonville condominium Sunday, the Florida Times-Union reported. According to the Times-Union, a neighbor called 911 after seeing flames coming from Fordham’s window around noon. After firefighters arrived, Fordham was taken to the Shands Jacksonville Medical Center, where he died shortly later. [...]
