I was actually AT the scene and watched the incident from beginning to end. This article and some of these peoples comments are RIDICULOUS!! Everyone in the dispute was drunk, and the girls had NO marks. The suspect pushed the two women in the forehead AFTER he had been pushed for asking for a hotdog. I mean, give me a break, this is Athens. Who DOESN'T get drunk and do stupid things? This whole thing is simply blown out of proportion because this guy was on MTV. Get a life people. There's more important issues in this world that worrying about a silly little drunken dispute. And one more thing, it's obvious the two victims are just looking for noticement. Why else would they start a childish internet group labeled "Buy Me A Hotdog, Bitch!"?? Sounds to me like people are just trying to keep something stirred up. It's over and done with, I know i've made mistakes in my younger years, so all you people who hold judgment and WERE NOT THERE...it's good to know that you've never been drunk and stupid. That's immature college kids for you.
The red and black should host an event in which students bet on the winner of a deathmatch between this dude and the chick who hit the bartender with a beermug. i've got 20 on the mug girl!
I am very close to both of the girls who were hit (and I was there the entire time). To set the record straight, one of them did have marks on the side of her head for a few days, and neither of the girls had been drinking that night. The whole thing was blown out of proportion news-wise, and the girls know that as well as the guy who hit them. None of the parties had anything to do with any of the news coverage. They have been in contact with each other since the incident and everyone involved realizes that it was a stupid mistake. So everyone please get over it.
with the exception of two girls getting assaulted, this has to be the funniest thing I have read in a while. check out the guy's facebook profile in which he states "Why do I enjoy getting drunk as OFTEN AS POSSIBLE??? lol" what a tool
I've known this guy for years, and I highly doubt he'd do anything like that without being provoked. The media can twist things and people do lie, so before you jump to conclusions, let's let the justice system decide who's in the wrong.
Here's an idea, how about he just doesn't harass girls? There is no reason why they should have given him any money whatsoever. Maybe if he would have asked NICELY instead of being degrading they would have been more generous. There is no excuse for hitting a girl, especially over something as frivolous as a stupid hot dog.
i showed up minutes after this happened and actually spoke to the girls and the guy that was with them, plus the officer who took the report. this article sounds about dead on to what the crying girls with red marks on their face told me.
