Red & Black offers more online

Abstract:
How much time did you spend reading a newspaper yesterday? How much time did you spend online? We're willing to bet most University students spend more time reading blogs or surfing YouTube than browsing a daily newspaper. And we don't blame you - the Internet is quick, accessible and seemingly endless....

Gail and Mike Harsh do not have a view of Plantation Drive from their house. I called Gail Sunday to make sure they did not own a jeep and to make sure none had driven down their driveway. She assured me this was not the case, but did offer information that it might have gone down into the woods to where 4-wheelers often go and ride through the wooded area, which is just before their driveway. Gail actually remembered, by Tuesday evening, that yes, a red vehicle (red subaru) actually came down their driveway, driven by their children, and dropped their grandchildren off for visitation. She informed the police department of this on Tuesday evening. Had I been given this information Sunday, call to tip line would not have been made.

I'm glad you offer a lot of content online. Now could you please tell me whether there is a comment limit on stories posted in the Red and Black. An archived article from February 2008 "Man Sodomized by Homeless" recently reached 150 comments and now those are nowhere to be found in the article. Many of the comments were requests for a follow-up to a popular story of the R&B's. If the comments were deleted for any other reason it would be a huge bout of hypocrisy by your organization (censoring comments made by readers is a sad play indeed).

Fix this.

I noticed that too. I couldn't find the article when I did a search for it either. I had to go back to the archive page for Feb. 15, 2008 to find it. I don't know why they would remove the comments.
