Some things NORML doesn't want you to know about:

The first website you presented is by a group in New England that is financed by the drug companies. This organization "assists", aka: takes them golfing, take them out to eat, to push certain medications into the market. It is another pill pushing company that wants to make millions regardless of the side affects of their fda approved drugs. They don't want marijuana legalized because it has fewer side affects and they can't make money off of it.
The second website link you presented is a government site. Do you think the government is going to be open minded when they produce research?? No, the government always has an agenda. Try seeking out non-government and non-government funded research labs. The American College of Physicians has stated marijuana is not lethal and they recommended it be decimalized.
The third web link you listed is a pdf article that states token and driving is harmful. No sh*t Sherlock. NORML admits that smoking and driving is wrong and causes accidents. NORML only promotes the responsible adult use of marijuana. You need to read both sides and be more open-minded.

Dear MC,
Maybe NORML didn't include those links because they contain material that defies common knowledge and common sense? I don't think you are going to find more than five people that actually believe marijuana causes psychosis (See link one). Furthermore, the second link that insinuates that the withdraw symptoms from nicotine are even remotely similar to those of THC is quite possibly the dumbest thing I've ever read on this website. (Please feel free to bask in the magnanimity of that). Nicotine activates receptors that are very similar to the ones that heroine acts upon. Come on man, even the US GOVERNMENT admits that tobacco is infinitely more addictive. There are logical points on each side of the debate, unfortunately the people most against marijuana always feel the need to misrepresent facts, make up facts, and just generally come up with the dumbest things instead of presenting a logical argument. Scare tactics and false information was presented as "drug education" in the 70's generation, but unfortunately it didn't work then and it certainly isn't going to work now that everyone has access to the internet. So let me sum it up for you, there are good arguments for and against pot, but you obviously don't understand either and even if one day you finally grasp these concepts, just know that potheads everywhere are laughing because even if they smoke for every minute of every day of their life, they'll never be as diluted as you are.

One thing more pathetic than an aging hipster is an apathetic, self-absorbed youth...

I don't really agree with their cause... but I'd really love it if they could get bands that don't suck next time.

as far as your first article is concerned... withdraw... the article fails to cite the number of pot smokers that smoke cigarettes as well (something many habitual smokers do) which can increase a supposed withdraw. As far as I know research has shown that cannabis only has a psychological addiction meaning the habit is addicting, not the drug itself. As far as the second article - the article itself even mentions the fact that the study failed to acknowledge those that are predispositioned to psychosis. Psychosis in individuals with genetic predisposition is triggered by any number of environmental causes and from any number of things consumed by the individual... including alcohol. I'm not shooting your sources down... I just wonder who funded the research. Both sides push their research to result in favor of their cause. Unless you have unbiased research, you can't argue for or against.

I only say that MC (or Dr. Michael Covington) told us he thinks alcohol is safer than marijuana.

Joe has the best point here. The bands were TERRIBLE all day long. I mean really, really bad. I don't need to hear 6 over the hill song/songwriters do different takes on Ben Harper's "Burn one Down." Get a PA system and iPod next time.
