An enterprising young man started a rickshaw business in downtown Savannah a number of years ago and it's still going strong - in fact he's added to his fleet over the years. The Athens business will certainly strengthen the legs of those who have to drive up and down the hills there. Advertising on the back of the Savannah rickshaws helps to bring in additional revenue and currently the fees are based on what the customers believe has been the worth of the ride. Five dollars per person seems very reasonable. I wish the business well. The UGA campus, at least until the recent flurry of filling north campus with a building on every available inch of space, has been a place of quiet beauty and the charm of Athens in general would make for a good rickshaw ride.
