Munson's health may hasten retirement

Larry Munson, the voice of the Bulldogs, may be ready to step down as the play-by-play radio announcer after 40 years at the microphone. Munson, 84, sat down with Athletic Director Damon Evans Tuesday to discuss 'contingency plans' for when he does finally call it quits....

I got the chills just reading the "Go Dawgs" at the end of this article. All of the Dawg Nation will be thinking about you, Larry.

LARRY, (Mr. Munson) I've been a Dawgfan for a long time I'm 52 years old been a dawg fan since I was about 12 years old when Iwent to my 1st Georgia Football game in Jacksonville, Fla. Been loyal fan ever since, the Dawg Nation will miss your voice in the away games,won't be the same, but you've earned it, wish you could stay a few more years, take care of your health that comes first, Good Luck in the future, GO DAWGS, MIKE.
