This is not only a big loss to the team but it is a big loss to the entire sport of gymnastics. The worst part of any sport are the injuries. This is a sad day for gymnastics.

This is really sad, I love Courtney, the whole world loves Courtney. But if anyone can get through this its Courtney, and I have a feeling her team will rally big time for nationals. She will be a leader from the sidelines this season, and she'll be back next year. Her poor achilles - they both have really taken a beating.
