Lucas, this is fantastic. The families torn apart by this dated, anachronistic trade policy would finally have a chance to be reunited.

Lucas,
I enjoyed reading your article, posted on cubacentral.com, and hope you and your friends will work to bring change in U. S. policy on Cuba. This includes VOTING for candidates who favor positive change. I am not Cuban, but I had visited the Island during the few years of "people-to-people" licencing that was allowed before Bush ended it. I now have great friends there, and would like so much to return. Visits like mine were the best form of diplomacy our country could possibly offer. We MUST open up to Cuba now, and accept whatever "changes" that occur there to come only from the Cubans on the Island, not those who fled years ago to come here.
Best wished for your future, and to your family on both sides of the Florida Straits.
