Abstract:
What would you think if I told you the U.S. and Mexico finally will merge to become one country? Would you be happy because marijuana might have a shot at becoming legal? Would you be sad about the waste of money that building a fence represents? Or would you be mad about having to share the same country? So far, the most appealing argument to a merge is the concern raised by Al Gore that global warming might make possible the scenes presented in the film "The Day After Tomorrow....

Any nation that cannot control its borders and its sovereignty will eventually cease to be a nation. It's just that simple. The United States of America has more than any country in history been a beacon of light and liberty to the rest of the world. Our sons have died by the hundreds of thousands to secure liberty for other nations. THAT is what is really at stake. If you wish to have an electorate that will change what this country has been and stood for then you do so at your own peril.

Today! Now! YOU! Must decide the future of America? There will be absolute no chance to stop an Amnesty of immense proportions, once the new President takes office.

Neither political parties can be trusted when it comes to the illegal immigration occupation of our country. More states are trying to enact strict laws for enforcement against predator employers. However, THE SAVE ACT has the teeth and packs the punch, to halt this pestilence overwhelming our wilting economy. Very few Senators and Representatives have THE PEOPLE' S best interest in mind. The Democratic hierarchy have specifically been pandering to special interest groups, and very few have offered to co-author THE FEDERAL SAVE ACT.

A Mr. Rubenstein, a former director of research at the Hudson Institute, a nonpartisan policy research organization, said U.S. taxpayers paid more than $9,000 for each immigrant in the country, a third of whom are believed to be in the U.S. illegally.

In addition, more than 37 million immigrants in the United States, both legal and illegal, cost the federal government more than $346 billion last year, twice as much as the nation's fiscal deficit, according to a report released yesterday. The loss estimates, the report said, included $100 billion in federal taxes lost "from the reduction of native incomes caused by immigrant workers." He also stated that even programs that are not usually associated with immigration, he said, have actually added financial burdens to the taxpayers.

More than 10 million immigrants have arrived since year 2000; it is estimated that nearly 6 million are illegal. All told, the group of immigrants now account for 38 million at the moment according to the White House's own census bureau.

America cannot afford to enact another AMNESTY? The ramifications are unthinkable on each states economy? Taxpayers will have to support even more illegal immigrants as the word gets out and millions more will pour into our nation. You must read the suppressed evidence of the consequences of the illegal immigrant occupation. Not found in the national press you can find the truth at these sites. NUMBERSUSA! LIBERTY POST! The ongoing immigration debate has very little to do with our cultural differences in my opinion. I have Mexican friends, I have Colombian friends, and I even know an awesome dude from Argentina. You know what? I enjoy my time with them, and find their cultures to be fascinating and unfamiliar. They ALSO all immigrated here legally. This has to do with America protecting her rights and freedoms as a SOVEREIGN NATION - about our citizens not having to live in fear that their neighbor might not respect the same laws that they do. The laws that WE THE PEOPLE created by way of our elected officials. The strength of a republic can be gauged by the strength of its laws, and the willingness of the citizens to abide by them. Anyone who feels it is their right to come here with dollar signs in their eyes, with NO intention of respecting America's laws or culture DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE HERE. It is NOT a right. It is a privilege. En masse illegal immigration is nothing short of an invasion, and must be stopped. You don't sneak into a man's house through his bedroom window, you go up and knock on the front door.

Hopefully one day we can have a better, more respectful relationship with Mexico. But as of now, our sovereignty is being violated daily. Strong anti-American sentiment hides beneath smiling faces looking for jobs. Mexico's own government publishes pamphlets describing safe ways to violate our border. Until this kind of disrespectful, self-centered behavior comes to an end, our relationship with Mexico will remain distrustful. Sad, indeed.
