University reduces academic journal 'cut list'

Abstract:
The University administration and library staff managed to save 1,000 of the academic journals up for cancellation, however, 600 journals will still be cut this month.

In a Friday e-mail to all University staff, faculty and students, Associate Provost of libraries William Potter said the University was able to save many journals thanks to the President's Venture Fund and a redistribution of the library budget....

I once wrote to a number of "scientists" at UGa and asked them how many of the 500+ scientific papers by the genius in Germany Otto Warburg, M.D., Ph.D. they had read? They refused to say. What this means is likely they had not read them. But they claim to be "experts" on cancer research when Dr. Warburg proved from experiments and facts, developed in the laboratory decades ago, that cancer is caused by the wrong energy supply; fermentation instead of oxygen based respiration energy for living cells. He first proved and reported this about 1923 in animals and developed the proof for humans during the next 40 odd years, along with his associates and supported by other laboratories around the world. He was even nominated for the first "cancer Nobel prize" in 1926 which was unfortunately given to Fibiger instead, whose work has been shown to be wrong. Dr. Warburg was a genius level scientist far above any so-called "scientists" at UGA. He was awarded the Nobel prize in medicine in 1931 for his work on cell respiration and nominated again in 1944 but due to Hitler's prohibition against German citizens receiving Nobel prizes, was denied that one. Three of his pupils won Nobel prizes in medicine
Otto Meyeroff, Hugo Theorell and Hans Krebs. Isn't it funny how the UGA "scientists" remain silent about his basic cancer discoveries and falsely promote the failed genetics theory of cancer causation because that his how they can obtain grant money from the federal government? Obviously it does not matter what journals are cancelled since the prejudiced non scientists at UGA only read what they are told to read by the failed and corrupt cancer generals in Washington or wherever they are.

This book, with about 500 references, discusses, among many other sordid details, the story of the "Summerlin Painted Mouse Affair", where a "scientist" at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York painted spots on the backs of lab animals in an effort to fool others about cancer research.

Numerous other references could be provided, but I would bet the ignorant "scientists" at UGA have not read any of them.
