A 3:30 game time? Really? The peak heat of the day is not at 12:30, it is around 2 to 3. Sure you might miss some heat toward the end of the game with a later start, but you'll still be in the stadium at the hottest part of the day. A 10 am start would make sense or a 6 pm start. As past experience would tell me a later day start only results in more drunk and obnoxious fans, but nothing more.

Actually it's more around 3-4 but the point is that with a 12:30 kickoff game it only gets hotter and the bad part is it gets hotter while the students are getting weaker especially if they drank before the game or are drinking during the game. Where as with a 3:30 game sure it starts at the hottest point of the day but that is when students and fans are theoretically strongest and then gets cooler from there. And as a 4th year Redcoat Band member let me me tell you that the 3:30 games are much better than 12:30.
