As a fellow scleroderma patient, I will be wishing Lindsay Grogan much success in her endeavors! She is an inspiration. There needs to be a clarification in the article, though. There are several forms of scleroderma. What is referred to as "localized scleroderma" is indeed debilitating, and rarely fatal. "Systemic scleroderma" though, can be life-threatening, and "diffuse systemic scleroderma," can be fatal despite all the best medical treatment.
