I thought Thomas gave a wonderful speech. I was saddened as a graduating senior that some had to rain on our parade and complain that Thomas was a poor choice as commencement speaker. It was a slap in the face of the University and those students who were graduating. I applaud president Adams for supporting his decision to invite Thomas as speaker and am appreciative to have had him speak at ym graduation ceremony.
