Local 'regular guy' Bobby Saxon runs for Congress

Abstract:
Editor's Note: This is the first in a series to profile each local candidate running for public office in November. We will ask the same seven questions. Although Dem. Bobby's too modest. Right after 9/11, he re-enlisted and went to Afghanistan to serve. Then to Iraq spending a year in downtown Baghdad to serve. Then to the Pentagon to serve. He got a Bronze Star in the process, as well as another dozen or so medals. When others were saying "we should do something", Major Saxon was doing it.
It would be great to have a strong solid moderate representing our district. Bobby Saxon is a candidate that both parties can get behind. If we want something different in Washington, we should for once vote the man and not the party.

Saxon is a nice guy, but we already have an excellent representative in Paul Broun. It takes time to gain seniority in Washington and make changes. Why replace Broun? He is one of the best Congressman this District has ever had.
