While I'm filling out my Sudoku in the few minutes before class starts, I occasionally overhear conversations about that day's edition of The Red & Black. "Did you see that mugshot," people ask. "The Red & Black hates Greeks," some say. "The Blackout was so cool," almost everyone agreed....

Kristen, you cant be serious. The R&B despises any group of people that it views as priviledged...Greeks, athletes, etc. The R&B also chooses to write articles that smear a group's or even individual's reputation beyond repair. Example: this suumer, the rising freshman (not inserting name) who wasn't enrolled yet that got an MIP, you all got the University to withdrawal his acceptance by plastering his face on the FRONT PAGE. What did that kid do to you all? Bottom line the R&B is a miserable publication that is only concerned with writing articles that kill reputations and breed hostility within the university community.

Advice: stop being a gossip column and try some real reporting. The R&B has been out of control for way too long and it sickens most people. Good thing your paper is free or you all would be out of business.
