UGA second in SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll recipients

Georgia recorded the second-highest number of SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll recipients among the 12 league schools,
according to an announcement Wednesday by SEC Commissioner Mike Slive.

Georgia had 99 honorees on the list, which is based on grades from the 2008 Summer and Fall and 2009 Spring terms.

Georgia's equestrian team had 30 student-athletes named to the honor roll, followed by women¹s track with 22, men's track with 19, baseball with seven, men's golf and softball with six each, women's golf with four, men's tennis with three, and women's tennis with two.
