The following incidents were reported by Athens-Clarke County jail log:

Thomas John Shingler, 22, was arrested and charged with DUI, tail light violation and failure to obey signals/signs. He was booked on Aug. 19 at 3:52 a.m.

Stephen Paul Basler, 19, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol. He was booked on Aug. 17 at 10:34 p.m.

Ntela Roger-Claude Diekumpuna, 40, was charged with felony contempt of Superior Court. He was booked on Aug. 15 at 5:01 p.m.

Heather Michelle Biehle, 18, was arrested and charged with speeding and reckless driving. She was booked on Aug. 17 at 7:15 a.m.

Stanley Reed Hoover, 20, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass and battery. He was booked on Aug. 17 at 1:17 a.m.

Matthew Dennis Hammond, 20, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol. He was booked on Aug. 15 at 3:13 a.m.

The following incidents were reported by the Athens Clarke County Police Department:

Stuart Whatley reported his vehicle was entered between 10 p.m. Aug. 14 and 6 a.m. Aug. 15 while parked at his College Avenue residence. A CD player, laptop, speaker, jig saw, and books with a total value of $1,280 were stolen.

The following incidents were reported by the University Police Department:

William Keanan Rush, 19, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol and obstruction of a law enforcement officer. He was arrested at East Cloverhurst Avenue on Aug. 18 at 5:08 a.m.

Josiah Martin Flournoy, 18, was arrested and charged with possession of a fake ID and underage possession of alcohol. He was arrested at Chi Phi on Aug. 16 at 1:44 a.m.

Joseph Howland Fu, 51, was arrested and charged with failure to obey a traffic control device, wrong way on one way street and DUI. He was arrested at 10:09 p.m. at College Station Road and the Loop.

Kirby Ryan Moore, 19, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol. He was arrested at the upper graduate lot on Aug. 16 at 3:30 a.m.

Jonathan Ross Tew, 20, was arrested and charged with possession of a fake ID and underage possession of alcohol. He was arrested at Brooks Hall on Aug. 16 at 2:04 a.m.

Daniel Aaron Matatiaho, 18, was arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol. He was arrested on Aug. 17 at 2:18 a.m.

Alexander Bartholomew Schlicht, 18, was charged with underage possession of alcohol. He was booked on Aug. 17 at 12:46 a.m.

Enrico Michael Angelo Hamilton, 22, was arrested with DUI and failure to maintain lane. He was arrested at River Road on Aug. 16 at 3:15 a.m.

James Clinton Harwood, 21, was arrested and charged with battery. He was arrested at Kappa Sigma on Aug. 15 at 2:25 a.m.

Travis Edward Bellinger, was issued an arrest warrant for underage possession of alcohol on Aug. 14.

A University employee reported damage to his vehicle at the Chicopee/First Strert Lot on Aug. 13 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.

The University reported two flags and four tee markers worth $90 were stolen from the UGA Golf Course between Aug. 14 and Aug. 15.

A University student reported damage to his vehicle in the Brumby Lot between Aug. 15 and Aug. 16.

A University employee reported receiving threatening e-mail at the Administration Building on Aug. 14.

A University employee reported cash and checks worth $83 were stolen from the Journalism Building between Aug. 13 and Aug. 14.

A University student reported being threatened by unknown individuals at East Campus Village between July 17 and Aug. 18.
