- SAT Test Prep Workshop. Sponsored by Professional & Personal Development at the Georgia Center. The Georgia Center SAT test preparation program covers all the math and verbal skills needed for success on the SAT. Class sessions use real test questions to show just how these skills are tested on the SAT. The program consists of 24 hours of classroom instruction from an experienced instructor, together with additional practice problems and sample tests. - Fulton County Chapter Georgia Football Kick off Party. Sponsored by the University Alumni Association. This event features prizes and a 10 percent discount on food with membership card. A portion of the food sales will benefit the Fulton County Chapter and will be given to a local no kill animal shelter in memory of Uga VI. Money will also be raised throughout the football season. - Coach Richt Bowling Challenge Team Signups. Open to all students with a valid ID, this event marks the beginning of a 12-week bowling competition featuring 32 five-man teams. The first night of the actual competition will be Sept. 4 and will continue Thursday nights beginning at 10:30 p.m. Showtime Bowling Center.
