It's going down at Legion Field. Tonight at 8, University Union's Committee for Black Cultural Programs brings Atlanta's own Yung Joc to the stage.

After releasing his first hit, "It's Goin' Down," Yung Joc produced his second album, "Hustlenomic$," received a Grammy nomination and shared bills with the likes of 8Ball and MJG, Young Jeezy and Keyshia Cole. And the man is only 24 years old.

"I'm not sure if he has ever been to Athens before, but he was born and raised in College Park, so he has to be a Bulldog fan," said Angela Covington, Yung Joc's media representative.

Elizabeth Hansen, adviser for CBCP, said it was a collective committee decision to try to get Yung Joc to perform. But this is not the only University on his current tour.

"He has tentative shows at clubs along the way - I think he's doing one in Lawrenceville while we're in Georgia - but after Athens, it's on to University of Arkansas and Virginia Tech," Covington said.

When: 8 tonight
Where: Legion Field
Price: $6 in advance,
$10 day of show for students;
$20 in advance, $25 day of show for non-students

CBCP is very excited for Yung Joc's performance, but have learned to always be on their toes.

"Bobby Valentino came last year and it was a nice surprise when he brought out Chingy," Hansen said. "But we don't expect anything like that from future performers, of course."

According to Covington, though, CBCP and their audience could be in for a special treat.

"He will most likely bring a couple of new artists," she said. "Maybe R&B artist Trayeon and hip-hop group Hot Stylez."

Tickets were $6 in advance and $10 starting today. One lucky student will attend the show for free. Junior Zain Hasan won the dance-off competition hosted by CBCP at Tate Plaza Monday.

"I just saw them promoting at Tate and everyone I was with told me to go dance so I did," Hasan said.

"Now I just don't know which girl I'm going to take [with me]."
