This week, students - myself included - have made their voices heard about the "unfairness" and "ridiculousness" of the student ticket policy.

Students have been scalping their tickets left and right on Facebook. We've all seen it, and the University thus far has not made an effort to stop it.

Those on campus who were forced to pay exorbitant prices for the $8 student tickets have been calling out the scalpers - they're not true fans, they should be nicer to their fellow students, etc.

I understand the concept of supply and demand, and with the No. 1 football team in the land in our very own town, there certainly is a high demand for tickets.

But to those of you who claim to be true fans because you'll pay anything to see the Dogs in person, now is the time to prove yourselves.

Saturday between the hedges, quiet down when Matt Stafford, Knowshon Moreno and co. are on the field. Scream your heads off when we're defending our end zone. And for God's sake, don't leave early.

Don't give the Athletic Association any incentive or motivation to take more student tickets away from us. Yes, they probably do lose money by offering student tickets at such a discount. And no, it's not our right to pay so little for them.

If you're a true fan - no matter what you paid to get inside Sanford Stadium - you should support the Dogs whether they're winning or not. (And let's face it, we have a big advantage on Saturday.)

We all say we're proud of the No. 1 Bulldogs. Saturday, it's time we all prove it - for all four quarters.

The student tickets should be put on student IDs or use the same system they use for Faculty/Staff and give students a little card to keep up with all year rather than individual tickets. (Continued…)

There were probably 250+ empty seats in top rows of the student section 311/312/313.

You complain all week about tickets and then you can't even show up on time. (Continued…)
