Regardless of political ideology, anyone is welcome today to take out their election year aggression on the presidential candidate of their choice - with a pie in the face.
Where: Tate Plaza
Phi Kappa Literary Society will offer the opportunity at their "Pie the President" event.
"We wanted to try something different," said Cameron Secord, vice president of Phi Kappa.
Members will wear red or blue shirts to represent the political parties and don a face mask resembling Sens. Barack Obama, John McCain, Joe Biden or Gov. Sarah Palin.
For $1, students can hit a candidate with a whip cream pie.
Funds will allow the group to host a debate Tuesday between the Young Democrats and College Republicans.
"We want to promote the concept of students learning as much as they can so that they can make the right choice," Secord said.
