To clean up an old expression, "Opinions are like [mouths,] everybody's got one." Some tend to make more sense than others, and some are paid more attention than others. Take Mark Richt. He's made it clear if you don't have a background in football, he doesn't put much stock in what you have to say.
On Nov. 2, Michael Fitzpatrick of the The Red & Black gave advice to football coach Mark Richt. His first suggestion was to "Fire Willie Martinez." I respect Fitzpatrick's right to an opinion. Everyone is irked with Georgia's defense. But he doesn't suggest why readers should believe what he thinks.
Conference is more important than rivalries I wish I had the respect for Coach Richt that should be there, however, over the years he seems to be reverting to the practices of Bobby Bowden. That being, it doesn't matter what the player does off the field,(or, during high school, as in a 'rap' sheet), just make sure that the locals understand that the football player is 'off limits', as has been the 'understanding' in Tallahassee for any of "Bobby's Boys",i.
