More tickets go on sale today
Even the losers get lucky sometimes.
Students who didn't get football tickets in the original rush or failed to win Tuesday's ticket lottery have one last chance today to get season tickets for Georgia's six home games.
The final 150 student season football tickets will go on sale this morning at Stegeman Coliseum.
2,600 students competed in the lottery for the remaining 900 tickets.
The results of the ticket lottery were posted at Stegeman Coliseum Tuesday night, and the winners could purchase their tickets Wednesday.
Apparently, some didn't collect their prize, because 150 tickets remain.
"I am surprised at how many people didn't show up," said Claude Felton, associate athletic director.
The remaining 150 sets will be sold for $18 on a first-come, first-served basis at the coliseum from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. today to students who don't have tickets yet.
