The following unrelated incidents were reported by the Athens-Clarke County police department:

William Mac Batchelor reported identity fraud when $6,000 disappeared from his savings account. He said an unknown individual transferred the money from his savings account via the Internet by using a company called Cash Edge whose headquarters are in New York. A $1,000 transfer from the checking account to the savings account was reversed prior to the $6,000 transfer.

Ann Marie Mezzell reported financial transaction card fraud after $620 was withdrawn from her checking account without authorization around 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 29.

Kathryn Elizabeth Williamson reported a theft by taking at the Delta Delta Delta House on Milledge Avenue. She reported her pewter David Yurman bracelet, an estimated value of $900, stolen from a jewelry box in her unlocked room.

Amber Michelle Sims said a burglary occurred at her home after finding her front door open. She reported several electronic devices stolen. A laptop worth $1,500, broadband card worth $75, silver DirecTV box DVR and a dirt bike worth $500 were stolen.

Hannah Camille Mall reported an entering auto at La Cazuela between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Jan. 25. A $150 CD player and $300 iPod were stolen.

Alison Barkett reported an entering auto on Hancock Avenue between midnight and 3 p.m. on Jan. 27. A $400 iPod, wallet and identification were stolen.

The following reports were reported by the Athens-Clarke County Police

Jordan Dyce, 20, was charged with criminal trespassing and battery at 9:12 p.m. on 1/29/2008

Yen Mach, 25, was charged with driving with a suspended license at 3:58 p.m. on 1/29/2008

Sloan Battle, 20, was charged with underage possession at 2:46 a.m. 2/1/2008

Daniel Poteet, was charged with DUI and improper driving at 5:38 a.m. 2/1/2008

Jeremiah Swaim, 22, was charged with theft by shoplifting at 4 p.m. on 2/1/2008

Brandtz Travitz, 20, charged with underage possession, of alcohol and possession of ID without consent and right of way in crosswalk at 11:12 a.m. on 2/1/2008

The following reported by University police:

A female student on 1/23/2008 reported harassing phone calls at Oglethrope House by an unidentified caller.

On 1/24/2008 at approximately 3:21 a.m. the following students were arrested for underage possession on Church Street: Andrew Tyler Heffernan, Benjamin David Hatch, Robert William Clark, James Henry Wells and William Forrest Sylvester. Heffernan was also charged with DUI and no headlights.

On 1/25/2008 Ahmed Olasunkanmi Salau was serviced with a warrant in Payne Hall at 10:19 p.m.

Matthew Darrel Kerr was arrested for Underage Possession/Possession of Fake ID at 2:08 a.m. at Terrell Hall on 1/26/2008.

Justin Robert Garrett, was arrested on 1/27/08 for DUI/Failure to Maintain Lane/Open Container at 3:32 a.m. on Williams Street.

William Sterne Fawlett was arrested for underage possession at East Campus Deck at 3:24 a.m. on 1/28/2008.

On 1/28/2008 a male student reported a burglary of his iPod($200) from Russell Hall.

A male student reported theft by taking of a Ford F250 pickup truck, worth $19,000 at the Hull Street Employee Lot between 01/27/08 at 10:15 p.m. to 01/30/08 at 6:20 p.m.

A male student reported theft by taking/criminal trespass of a catalytic converter at the Oconee Commuter Lot between 01/28/08 at 12 p.m. to 01/29/08 at 8 p.m.

Ahmed Salau was issued a warrant on 1/31/2008 for giving false name and date of birth/helmet required/license must be exhibited on demand.
