The point us, WUOG focuses more on playing things that are obscure instead of things that are *good.* I'm not saying they should start playing top 40 or anything. (Continued…)

If you take the time to listen to 90.5, you'll note that there is a wide array of music played, something for everybody's taste... they've got everything from rock to celtic music. (Continued…)

rotation does suck. But nothing is better than listening to 90.5 and hearing a song completely new to you and enjoying it. I know a lot of individuals at the UGA are like the rednecks in that will ferrel racing movie, (when they hear 'strange' music their heads explode)but I and many of my friends genuinely enjoy the novelty of 90. Definitely...I don't understand why WUOG doesn't play a lot more local music. There's so much amazing local stuff to choose from. I could spend an entire day playing records from local artists. (Continued…)

Feel free to request as much music as you like at 706-542-4567. The DJs are trained volunteers; you could be one too. No need to complain if you choose to do nothing about it. (Continued…)

We do play lots of local stuff and if you don't hear what you want, call the station! They take requests!

The policy is to play artists and such that aren't that popular and who need exposure or just stuff we like. (Continued…)
