Students who could not catch a flight to Washington, D.C. to see the men's basketball team live against Xavier in the first round of the NCAA Tournament still have plenty of options available to view the game. With tip-off at 12:20 p.m., many students looking to see the game will have to work around class schedules.
- For those not in class, the game will be televised in the Athens area by CBS46. According to CBS46.com, a pregame show will air at 11 a.m. entitled "Dawgs Road to a Championship." The show will feature clips and highlights of Georgia's historic performance in the SEC Tournament.
- For students who cannot afford to miss class, boot up your laptop, plug in the headphones and hit the Internet. CBS is broadcasting every tournament game for free online at CBSSportsline.com. Registration is quick and simple and provides an easy way to see more than one game at a time. Hopefully, professors won't catch on to the occasional cheers and bursts of excitement.
- Buffalo's Café is anticipating a good crowd. The restaurant and bar boasts 47 televisions with a monster 50-inch screen as its largest. Buffalo's plans to offer game day specials such as $1.50 pints of Coors Light and $3 well drinks.
- The Tate Student Center Theater will host a viewing party for Georgia's first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2002. Students are encouraged to bring snacks and watch the game on the big screen. The movie theater will be open to 500 students on a first come first serve basis. Also, all televisions in the lobby will be tuned to the game.
- The Blind Pig is typically a hot spot for football games, but today basketball is king. The Blind Pig offers a great atmosphere and great food. Students planning to attend should expect a large crowd.
- If none of those options are viable, fans can turn to the radio and listen to the game. The game will be broadcast on 750 AM or AM 960 The Ref.

It would have been nice if the author had researched whether any of these places will be showing *all* the games in the first round. I know this will be news tro most fans in Athens (it always has been before last year) but there are several other games to be played today. (Continued…)
