HOW THEY GOT HERE
The Wolverines lost just once all season (to No. 2 Utah in the regular-season finale) before finishing second to Oregon State at the West Regional on the Beavers' home floor. Michigan also handed top-ranked Georgia one of its only two losses this season.
NCAA HISTORY
Michigan is making its 16th straight NCAA Championship appearance under coach Beverly Plocki, and seventeenth overall. The Wolverines finished second nationally in 1995 and 1999, and tied for 11th a year ago.
KEY PLAYERS
Fifth-year senior Lindsey Bruck and sophomore Sarah Curtis are the all-arounders for the Wolverines. The two finished first and second in the all-around in Michigan's March 7 victory over top-ranked Georgia. Both marks were season highs.
