Four Georgia golfers gain All-America status

Four members of the Georgia men's golf team received All-America recognition from the Golf Coaches Association of America on Friday.
Freshman Russell Henley, junior Adam Mitchell and sophomore Hudson Swafford were named to the Second Team, while freshman Harris English was chosen for the Third Team.
"We are very happy for Russell, Adam, Hudson and Harris," Georgia coach Chris Haack said. "They played very well this season and were exceptional leaders for our team. They deserve this recognition."
Henley paced the Bulldogs with a 72.18 scoring average, followed by Mitchell at 72.43, Swafford at 72.48 and English at 73.06. Henley and Mitchell each posted six top-10 finishes to lead Georgia, while Swafford had five and English had four. This is the second All-America designation for Mitchell, while Swafford, Henley and English were recognized for the first time in their careers.
