Since the end of July, LeFevour, a darkhorse Heisman Trophy candidate, has had his own billboard in Detroit. It's on the back of the scoreboard of Major League Baseball's Comerica Park, and faces the NFL's Ford Field. And it has people talking.
"Does he really? That's awesome," said Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford, a Heisman contender in his own right.
"You've gotta put up numbers like that guy (to get a billboard). Didn't he go for 3,000 (yards passing) and 1,000 (rushing) last year? He's an unbelievable quarterback."
To be exact, LeFevour threw for 3,652 yards and 27 touchdowns in 2007, and rushed for another 1,112 and 19 - numbers not all that different from those of a certain Swamp-residing QB.

"He's 6-foot-3, 230. His statistics are really pretty staggering," Georgia coach Mark Richt said.
"I think if it wasn't for Tebow doing what he did, which was basically shatter every pass-rush combination there was … everybody would be talking about how amazing what he's done is. Just the productivity of this guy is amazing."
The Illinois native already holds CMU career records for passing yards, completions, touchdown passes and total offense, and had 500 more all-purpose yards than Tebow last season.
