At 30 years old and single, Poppy (Hawkins) is a British school teacher who manages to stay afloat in a life that has given her more downs than ups.
Whether it's a stolen bike, a crazed flamenco teacher, an encounter with a homeless man or a love affair, Poppy's cure is always a dose of humor and a never ending smile.
Those who become exasperated with her personality eventually find themselves attracted to her lightheartedness.
Prediction: Peppy British people are sensational. The film is sure to be a free supply of anti-depressants to many.
