The Lamar County Sheriff’s Office obtained two felony warrants against Athens-Clarke County Police Department officer Robert Britt for terroristic threats and family violence on June 20, ACCPD announced press release.

Britt was booked for the charges at the ACC Jail this evening.

“In accordance with ACCPD policy Britt has been placed on administrative leave pending a preliminary review of the facts in this case,” the release said.

According to his Linkedin page, Britt is a U.S. Army veteran and has been an officer with ACCPD since February 2016.
