This band from Atlanta followed Baby Baby’s performance at the 40 Watt Club on Saturday night, but the band's style could not have been more different.

Singer Clay Reeds didn’t bother to interact with the crowd in between music, instead letting his music speak for itself, grinding through one song after another.

Subsonics was slower paced than Baby Baby, with a sound very similar to the Velvet Underground.

Drummer Buffi Aguero stood at her drum set throughout the performance and called out songs as they were about to be played.

According to its Facebook page Subsonics was called the “best band in Atlanta” by the Black Lips who followed their act.
