Returning for the 9th year, it's the fabulous BFK Book Sale, benefiting local nonprofit Books for Keeps. This sale features more than 30,000 used books for children, adults, and everyone in between. The BFK Book Sale is anticipated every year by book lovers for the care we take in organizing and making it easy for you to find the books you are looking for - all at terrific prices! All proceeds benefit Books for Keeps and our literacy programs in Athens-area schools. Visit booksforkeeps.org for more details!

To date, Books for Keeps has given away more than half a million books in Georgia, supported annually by this book sale, plus your donations and grants from local foundations.

The sale kicks off with our Sneak Preview Night. For $10 admission, you get first crack at all our entire selection of books. Hardbacks start at $3, paperbacks at $2, children's books are $2, and we'll have a huge selection of discount books priced at 50 cents for kids and adults. On weekend two of the sale, all books are marked down to $2, $1, and 25 cents for discount books. Return on Sunday, August 25th for our Bag Sale - fill up a plastic grocery bag for just $5!
