The University of Georgia received multiple grants that will allow for the introduction of 33 electric buses by the year 2021 to provide campus transportation. This will make the bus fleet the largest fleet of electric buses of any university in the nation. The new electric buses are currently in use on campus accompanying the original diesel buses. With these new electric buses rolling around campus, we asked students how they felt about the sustainable initiative.
