UGAHacks 5, hosted by student organization UGAHacks, took place at the Zell B. Miller Learning Center on the UGA campus this weekend. The hackathon united all programmers and tech enthusiasts to an event where several groups have to create an idea for an app or program. This three-day event comes with video game competitions, networking opportunities, food and sponsor games. After the opening ceremony on Friday night, the teams began the race to the finish line in this 36-hour hacking marathon. The students are free to create anything digital that they set their minds to.
