The Georgia Bulldogs defeated the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 52-7 on Saturday, Nov. 30 to close out the regular season. Georgia tight end Charlie Woerner (89) scored his first touchdown as a Bulldog during the first half, and the Georgia offense had a dominant second half with 35 points scored. Despite three offensive drives in a row by Georgia Tech due to a fumbled punt, a fumbled onside kick and a forced fumble, the Georgia defense held the Yellow Jackets to just one touchdown during the game. The Bulldogs will move on to play LSU in the SEC Championship game on Saturday, Dec. 7 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
