The Athens Farmers Market hosted its first annual holiday market on Nov. 28, 2020 at Bishop Park.

The event had a total of 43 booths that included both festive holiday themed vendors as well as several usual weekly produce suppliers. Specialty local holiday booths offered gifts such a pottery, handmade art, wreaths, macrame pieces and beanies.

While the market was busier than the usual Saturday farmers market, event organizers stressed social distancing and required all guests to wear masks and wash their hands before entering the open-air market.
