A student-organized protest and march moved around downtown Athens, Georgia and the University of Georgia's campus on Sept. 25, 2020. Protesters marched in response to the verdict of the Breonna Taylor court case and called for racial justice.
Marching took place in the streets of the city as protesters made laps around the same blocks several times, blocking traffic as they did so, before moving onto North Campus to speak on the steps of the Chapel. Around 200 protesters attended the event, and the group was met by no counter protest groups.
