Athens residents and University of Georgia students participated in a March for Reproductive Justice to protect access to abortions and reproductive freedom on Sunday afternoon. The march, which began at the Arch and ended at the Athens-Clarke County Courthouse, featured speakers along the way. The event was organized by several local and UGA groups including Athens Reproductive Justice Collective, Period Project at UGA, Unite for Reproductive and Gender Equity at UGA and Women’s Health Support Awareness Project at UGA.
